The Lord is close tothe brokenhearted. --Psalm 34:18

耶和华靠近伤心的人。-诗篇34篇18节

Whena good friend suddenly lost her husband to a heart attack, we grieved with her.As a counselor, she had comforted many others. Now, after 40 years of marriage,she faced the unwelcome prospect of returning to an empty house at the end ofeach day.

好友的丈夫因心脏病发作而骤然逝世，我们都和她一同哀伤。身为一位心理咨商师，她曾经安慰过许多人。结婚四十年，如今她得面对每天工作结束后，回到那空荡的屋子。

Inthe midst of her grief, our friend leaned on the One who “is close to thebrokenhearted.” As God walked with her through her pain, she told us she wouldchoose to “wear the label widow proudly,” because she felt it was the label Godhad given her.

在哀伤中，她仍然仰望耶和华，因祂「靠近伤心的人」。上帝与她一同走过伤痛，她说，她愿意称自己为寡妇，因为这是上帝给她的一个新身分。

Allgrief is personal, and others may grieve differently than she does. Herresponse doesn’t diminish her grief or make her home less empty. Yet it remindsus that even in the midst of our worst sorrows, our sovereign and loving Godcan be trusted.

哀伤的感受唯有自己能体会，每个人表达哀伤的方式不同。虽然她已接受丈夫离开的事实，却不能减少她的伤痛，也无法改变家里空洞的氛围。然而，这却提醒我们：即便在极其哀伤之中，我们依然可以信靠至高、慈爱的上帝。

Ourheavenly Father suffered a profound separation of His own. As Jesus hung on thecross He cried out, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” (Matt. 27:46).Yet He endured the pain and separation of crucifixion for our sins out of lovefor us!

我们的天父和祂的独生爱子分离时，祂也承受着莫大的痛苦。耶稣也是一样，当祂被钉在十字架上，祂大声喊着说：「我的上帝！我的上帝！为什么离弃我？」（马太福音27章46节）祂因着对我们的爱，担当我们的罪，忍受身体的疼痛，并且与上帝分离！

Heunderstands! And because “the Lord is close to the brokenhearted” (Ps. 34:18),we find the comfort we need. He is near.

祂体会我们的伤痛！我们能得着心灵安慰，因「耶和华靠近伤心的人」（诗篇34篇18节）。祂就在身边。

Prayer 祷告：

Dear heavenly Father, as we thinkabout the sadness that comes from the death of a loved one, help us to cling toYou and trust Your love and goodness. Thank You for being close to our brokenhearts.

亲爱的天父，当我们因为至亲过世而哀伤，求祢帮助我们能更倚靠祢，信靠祢的慈爱与良善。

感谢祢，因祢靠近每一颗破碎的心。
